Requirements for this position:

- PSW certification or diploma is a must.
- First Aid Certificate and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate (within 1 year)
- Police Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening.
- TB Test and Immunizations (up to date)

Responsibilities/Duties

- Compassion, integrity,

- Provides personal care to the client, supporting with transfers and transitions.
- Support client to perform ADL’s (Activities of Daily Living) including, support with bathing, meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and more
- Assist client in safely ambulating and transferring
- Perform delegated tasks as required
- Promote client independence
- Provides psychological and emotional support
- Provide clear, timely communication to the client, family and any stakeholders
- Promotes a safe workplace for both the client and worker
