Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Personal Support Worker to assist individuals with daily living and help them maintain comfort, dignity, and independence. The role may involve providing senior care or home care in a residential setting. Experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or supporting individuals with disabilities is an asset.

Responsibilities

- Provide respectful, person-centered support with daily activities, following each individual’s care plan.
- Assist with personal care, mobility, and other routine needs while encouraging independence.
- Support dementia care needs with patience, clear communication, and attention to safety.
- Assist with medication administration only as authorized and in accordance with applicable procedures and training.
- Prepare meals and help with eating as needed, while following dietary instructions.
- Perform light cleaning and help maintain a safe, tidy living environment.




- Observe and report changes in an individual’s condition or well-being to the appropriate care team.
- Protect each person’s privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.

Requirements

- Compassion, reliability, patience, and strong communication skills.
- Ability to follow care plans, safety procedures, and instructions from supervisors.
- Willingness to assist with personal care and daily living activities.
- Caregiving experience is preferred; assisted living experience, nursing home experience, senior care, experience working with individuals with disabilities, dementia care, and home care experience are valued.
- Experience with meal preparation, cleaning, or medication support is helpful.
- Any medication-related duties must be performed within the scope of applicable training and authorization.

Pay: $17.92-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3.0 – 25.0 per week
