Summary
As a Mechanic Assistant – PDI Specialist, you’ll help prepare dealership vehicles and equipment for delivery. Your impact: Careful inspections and preparation help customers receive their new purchases ready for use.
Responsibilities
- Assist with pre-delivery inspections of motorsports vehicles and related equipment.
- Assemble units and components as needed for delivery preparation.
- Use hand and power tools to support mechanical work.
- Perform maintenance and basic checks, including electrical checks where appropriate.
- Identify concerns during preparation and communicate them to the mechanic or team.
- Keep the shop organized and maintain a clean work area
- Delivery/Pick up of Customer units
- Qualifications
- Required:
Mechanical knowledge and confidence using hand and power tools.
- Required: Ability to assist with assembly, maintenance, and mechanical tasks.
- Required: Driver's License
- Preferred: Mechanic experience or automotive repair experience.
- Preferred: Familiarity with electrical work and reading schematics.
- Preferred: Dealership experience and a customer-service mindset.
