We are looking for sharp, high-energy Call Center Sales Representatives to join our inside sales floor at Yard Dawgs Lawn Care Head Office in Calgary. Yard Dawgs started in Calgary in 2014 with two university students, $3,500, and a beat-up minivan. Today, we are scaling across Western Canada and the United States on our mission to build Canada's largest lawn care company. Our philosophy is simple: "Forget industry standards. We set our own."

This is a 100% phone-based inside sales role. There is zero door-to-door knocking and zero cold walk-ins. You will spend your day on the headset having real, consultative conversations with homeowners:

- Inbound Leads: Taking live calls from homeowners calling in or requesting quotes online who want their lawn fixed now.
- Outbound Past Estimates: Calling back warm homeowners who previously requested an estimate and walking them through the right package to get them booked.
- Previous Customers and Win-Backs: Calling past Yard Dawgs customers to welcome them back onto program for the season and upgrading accounts with aeration, overseeding, and specialty treatments.

Role

You are a full-time, in-office Call Center Sales Representative exclusively speaking on the phone to inbound leads, outbound past estimates, and previous Yard Dawgs customers. You run a warm, thorough consultation on every call, measure the homeowner's lawn by satellite while you chat,



recommend the package that actually solves their lawn problems, close the sale with clear expectations, and set up their account cleanly so our field technicians can deliver a 5-star experience.

Responsibilities

- Own inbound quote calls: answer live calls with energy and warmth, uncover what is frustrating homeowners about their lawn, measure their property live, and close the booking on the call.
- Work outbound past estimates and warm leads: reopen the conversation, address questions or price hesitation, and get them on the schedule.
- Win back previous customers: reactivate annual lawn care subscriptions and recommend seasonal upgrades.
- Sell consultatively, not transactionally: ask open-ended questions, present our dog-themed packages (The Pomeranian, The Golden Retriever, The St. Bernard), and set honest, clear expectations on our weed control guarantee and annual auto-renewal program.
- Set up every account 100% cleanly in HubSpot and Real Green, including payment processing, notification preferences, property flags, and a clear technician note.

Results (How Success Is Measured)

- Hit daily outbound dial and talk-time targets while answering live inbound leads right away.
- Hit and exceed weekly and monthly sales targets across inbound leads, past estimates, and win-backs.
- Maintain an 80%+ average on our Master Booking Scorecard.
- Show up consistently, on time and ready to dial at our Northeast Calgary HQ for at least 10 months of the year.

Requirements





- 1 to 3+ years of experience closing sales exclusively over the phone (call center sales, inside sales, B2C phone sales, warm-lead follow-up, or win-backs).
- Outstanding phone voice and rapport: friendly, confident, sharp, and genuine.
- Coachable and process-driven: you welcome call reviews and follow a proven sales framework without sounding robotic.
- Fast on a computer while talking: headset, Google Maps, pricing, and clean CRM notes across dual monitors.
- Able to commute reliably Monday to Friday to 330 40 Ave NE, Calgary and commit to at least 10 months per year.
