AMC Insurance is hiring a Senior Insurance Advisor for personal lines. You'll manage higher-value home and auto accounts and be the person junior advisors come to with tricky files.
This role is for an advisor with 3 or more years in personal lines who can handle complex coverage on their own and enjoys helping a team improve.
We may also have openings in Cloverdale, South Surrey, Langley, Abbotsford, New Westminster and North Vancouver.
What you'll do
- Manage and retain a portfolio of higher-value personal lines clients
- Review accounts at renewal and recommend coverage for homes, condos, rentals, vehicles and travel
- Handle complex ICBC transactions, including multi-vehicle policies, transfers and endorsements
- Find gaps across a client's policies and round out their coverage
- Answer technical questions from junior advisors and check their work when needed
- Keep accurate records in Applied Epic
What you need
- Level 2 BC General Insurance Licence (Level 1 with 3+ years of strong personal lines experience will be considered)
- 3 years of personal lines experience, including ICBC Autoplan
- Strong knowledge of ICBC PolicyCenter and home insurance wordings
- Confident explaining coverage to clients and coaching coworkers
- Clear spoken and written English
Nice to have
- CAIB, CIP or CRM designation, or working toward one
- Applied Epic experience
- A second language spoken by our clients
