Trail Tire Supply, one of the fastest growing Canadian Tire Distributors, is looking for more team members to help our growing supply demand. We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Calgary.

Job Summary:

As a Warehouse Supervisor at Trail Tire Supply, you will be responsible for the effective management and enhancement of our distribution center's warehouse operations, ensuring optimal productivity and standards of work, maintaining inventory records, and collaborating with various departments to streamline logistics and distribution processes.

Key Responsibilities:

· Supervise Warehouse personnel to ensure warehouse operations are being performed accurately and efficiently

· Propose and implement improvements to current methods and procedures to increase productivity

· Use equipment such as forklift, pallet jack, or stand-up lift truck (order picker)

· Conduct regular meetings with direct reports and provide them with feedback

· Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and invoices.

· Schedule and arrange transportation for outgoing shipments.

· Inspect outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and quality.

· Investigate any inventory inaccuracy issues and communicate those with customer service team

· Communicate with carriers, vendors, customers, and customer service staff to track shipments and resolve any issues.





· Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure efficient loading of goods.

· Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock for customer orders.

· Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.

· Identify and implement process improvements to enhance shipping efficiency.

· Strong knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures and regulations.

· Excellent organizational and time management skills.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Other duties as needed

Safety: Follow all safety guideline and operational procedures in accordance to safe work and operating procedures

Working Conditions:

· Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures.

· Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying.

· Occasional overtime may be required during peak seasons.

· Support team operations and complete other tasks as assigned.

All Warehouse Supervisors are expected to uphold high standards of teamwork, be accountable for exercising your best judgment and meet the outlined expectations within the warehouse environment.

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
