MUSEUM BRAND AMBASSADOR (With chance for Team Lead position)

ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Museum of Illusions is looking for Museum Brand Ambassadors who excel at engaging with guests and get them excited about their visit & experience at our Museum. You must love to entertain and put smiles on people's faces.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Represent the Museum of Illusions brand with integrity and enthusiasm.
- Responsible to engage and entertain visitors. Ultimately offer a positive experience.

- Outstanding front desk presence, which will set the mood for their visit.
- Think on your feet; ability to improvise along the way.
- Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team and independently.
- Interact with customers to provide top notch service.
- Upbeat, energetic, positive personality!!

YOU ARE:
- 18 years or older





- Ideally you have previous experience working at a museum or Toronto attraction. If not then you have some experience working in a service business as you support many customers.
- Must have a genuine love and ability to talk with guests of all age groups

- Excellent verbal communication

- High energy, self-managing, and self-starter personality
- Ability at managing multiple tasks

- Strong desire to work as part of a fun, creative and entrepreneurial team in a fast- paced, out-of- the-box environment

APPLICATION AND TIMING:
Must be able to start by April and work anywhere from 16-20 hours per week which include weeknights and weekends.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the essential functions of this job, the Ambassador must be able to do the following: stand for extended periods; bend and reach for job-related function; guide guests through the Museum and our exhibits; provide back up front desk support if needed: support merchandising efforts which include sales, filling the museum shop shelves with stock; handle customer service support; provide guidance to guests and groups; manage large groups for corporate/school events; bend, stoop, lift to move and retrieve materials; pull, push, and lift; reach both above and below shoulder height; be a Team Player with a great attitude!
