Building Superintendent & Rental Coordinator (35 hours/week)

Hours: Minimum 35 hours per week with flexible work hours in response to church needs.

Location: Eden United Church, 3051 Battleford Road, Mississauga. ON SITE

Eden United Church is seeking a responsible, detail-oriented Building Superintendent & Rental Coordinator to manage all aspects of our building.

The position reports to and is supervised by the Operations Supervisor with technical support provided by the Property Management Committee.

The Building Superintendent & Rental Coordinator will be available for emergency, after hour telephone contact and be responsible for coordinating response to the emergency.

In alignment with the Mission and Vision of Eden United Church, the Building Superintendent & Rental Coordinator plays a significant role in helping create a clean, safe, and inviting space to use for Christ’s Ministry.

Principal Duties

· Building maintenance and grounds maintenance including:





o Management of trades and contractors

o Safety and security

· Cleaning

· Supporting rentals including:

o Event setup and tear down

o Use of audio-visual equipment

o Day to day relationships with Eden’s tenants

Experience and Qualifications

· Demonstrate critical thinking, initiative and problem-solving skills.

· Fluent in English; verbal, written and comprehension.

· Competency with computer applications including MS Office Suite.

Compensation and Benefits: $22.57 an hour
