Rail cybersecurity standards and secure-by-design solutions anchor this onsite Toronto position with Hitachi Rail Canada Inc. as a Cybersecurity Advisor.You will guide project cybersecurity activities supporting Hitachi Rail, Signalling and Rail Solutions, and customer requirements. The position requires expertise across cybersecurity processes, software development lifecycles, risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and technical documentation. It also connects project work with industry standards, Hitachi Rail SRS guidelines, and Global Business Unit Ground Transportation Systems guidance.Key Responsibilities:




Maintain cybersecurity processes across project development lifecycle gatesAdopt industry standards and methodologies for project cybersecurity assessmentsAlign project activities with Hitachi Rail SRS guidelinesReview security requirements and support project design decisionsInterface with Global Business Unit Ground Transportation SystemsRequirements:
More than five years of cybersecurity architecture and development experienceKnowledge of engineering and software development cybersecurity practicesCISSP designation or equivalent preferredIEC 62443 expertise is a plusAbility to write technical documentation and papersBring rail systems cybersecurity, standards knowledge, and explicit technical communication to Hitachi Rail’s Toronto projects.
