Promote and live the Mission, Vision and Core Values of S&RFacilitate; and promote resident choice and resident centered value within the communityMaintain standards in the community that are within our policies and standardsOversee the daily operations of all resident services in the communityLeading team to excellence by having a clear vision of what needs to be accomplishedResponsible for hiring, performance management,



discipline and termination of applicable team membersMaximize revenue and control expenses to budgetBehavioural Competencies
Exhibit a highly developed ability to actively listen, negotiate and communicate goals;
share knowledge, experience and responsibility when dealing with direct reports, employees and residentsDemonstrates flexibility and creativity in problem solving and overall managementForward, independent and innovative thinkingExperienced in directing, managing, coaching and mentoring staff to motivate and bring about efficiency and creativityProvide qualified coaching and guidance to direct reports#SRINDPrimary Requirements
Proven experience and skills in creating brand awareness, engaging clients, and facilitating public education and awareness about the Retirement HomeProven performance in general administration, sales and marketingUnderstand and promote a “Hospitality” environment within the homeExcellent Leadership skills – To Lead, Inspire, Motivate and Drive established teamQualifications
Good administrative and team support skills neededPrevious experience in a Retirement or Residential Care or Hospitality setting essentialPrior management and “team lead” experience neededA working knowledge of the marketplace and the needs of seniorsPrevious experience in marketing, preferably in residential careExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsWorking knowledge or capacity to understand relevant legislationAlthough not required, experience in care or being an RPN is helpfulAdditional Information
