Job Overview

We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Clamp Forklift Operators to join our agile warehouse team. In this vital role, you will operate specialized clamp trucks and forklifts to efficiently handle, transport, and organize a variety of goods within our distribution center. Your mechanical knowledge and precision will ensure safe, accurate order picking and inventory management, supporting our commitment to timely deliveries and seamless warehouse operations. Responsibilities

- Operate clamp trucks and forklifts safely to move large or awkwardly shaped items within the warehouse
- Use warehouse management systems to track inventory, update stock levels, and ensure accurate order fulfillment
- Perform order picking with precision, ensuring correct items are selected for shipment according to order specifications
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance or report repairs as needed
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks that require physical strength and proper technique to prevent injury
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by stacking, storing, and retrieving goods efficiently




- Follow safety protocols at all times, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to operational guidelines

Skills

- Proven experience in warehouse distribution environments with familiarity in order picking and inventory handling
- Certification or experience operating clamp trucks, forklifts, and other warehouse machinery
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform basic maintenance
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts, measurements, and order accuracy
- Physical capability for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and performing manual tasks safely
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking stock movements and order processing
- Excellent attention to detail combined with proactive communication skills for team collaboration
