Sales Associate - Remote

Remote prospect for candidates based in Toronto, ON.

We are hiring a remote Sales Associate to help launch Trueplace's new software tools for small businesses. This is a contract opportunity focused on outbound cold calling, building relationships with business owners, and helping turn qualified conversations into closed deals.

Schedule and compensation

- Five hours per day, working remotely.

- Guaranteed base pay starting at CAD $18.25 per hour, plus commission on deals closed.

- Commission terms will be discussed during the hiring process.

- Opportunity to move into a full-time role based on performance and business needs.

What you will do

- Make outbound cold calls to small-business owners and decision-makers.

- Clearly explain our software tools, ask questions about each business's needs, and identify suitable prospects.

- Book follow-up conversations, follow up with interested prospects, and help close deals.

- Keep accurate notes and follow-up tasks in our CRM.

- Communicate progress, feedback and common questions to the team.





- Represent the business professionally and respectfully on every call.

What we are looking for

- Sales experience is strongly preferred, especially cold calling, telesales, appointment setting or business-to-business sales.

- Clear spoken and written English, active listening skills and a confident, professional phone manner.

- Comfort starting conversations with new people, handling objections and staying persistent after rejection.

- Good organization, reliable follow-through and a willingness to learn our software tools.

- Reliable internet, a computer and a quiet place to make calls.
