Thor Motors is a locally owned, multi-generational Ford dealership in Orillia. We're hiring a Used Car Manager to own our pre-owned department from acquisition to delivery, and to desk deals with our sales team. If you run vAuto, Tekion and AutoAlert, you already know our toolkit. What you'll own
• Inventory: stock the lot from every channel — trades, service lane and owner equity (AutoAlert), Ford lease returns, private buys and auction against a monthly acquisition target.
• Appraisal and pricing: appraise and price to market daily in vAuto, and run a written 45/60/90-day aged-unit policy.
• Recon and merchandising: manage time-to-line and recon cost with Service; every unit online with photos and pricing within 48 hours of frontline-ready.
• Desking: desk any deal in the store in Tekion, especially used deals and deals with a trade. Structure profitable, closable deals and hand off cleanly to F&I.;
• Team: coach sales consultants on used product, trade presentation and closing; run daily follow-up and appointments in Tekion.
• Ford programs:



certify eligible units under Ford Blue Advantage and work programs through inford.
• Results: own used gross, volume, turn, aged inventory, wholesale and CSI, with daily reporting to the General Manager. What you bring
• 3+ years managing a used car department or desking at a franchise dealership
• Hands-on vAuto (Provision) experience; Tekion, AutoAlert and inford are assets
• A record of growing used gross and turn, bring your numbers
• Valid OMVIC registration and an Ontario G licence Pay and benefits Base salary plus monthly commission on used department gross and pay on every new and used unit the store sells. Expected annual compensation is $110,000–$160,000; top performers earn above this range. Why Thor Motors
