Early Childhood Educators — Private Beta Prospect | South Calgary

Nurture Loop is preparing for its public launch in January 2027, and we are currently selecting a maximum of 30 early childhood educators to participate in our private beta in South Calgary.

This is not a traditional guaranteed-hours position. Nurture Loop is a staffing platform that connects early childhood educators with childcare centres that need casual, substitute, sick-day, vacation, and additional staffing coverage.

During our private beta, participating educators will be able to create a professional profile, set their availability, view available shifts and choose the opportunities that work for their schedules.

We are partnering with up to eight childcare centres in South Calgary and are specifically looking for educators who genuinely intend to use the platform and pick up shifts as they become available.

Nurture Loop is completely free for educators to use. There is no subscription fee for educators now or in the future.

Who We Are Looking For

This private beta is intended for educators who:

- Are available to work in South Calgary
- Have meaningful weekday availability to pick up casual or substitute shifts
- Intend to actively review and accept shifts when their schedule allows
- Are interested in working across potentially several different childcare centres
- Are dependable, professional and comfortable entering different early learning environments
- Are willing to create and maintain a complete Nurture Loop profile
- Are willing to provide occasional feedback about their experience using the platform during the beta

ECE students, recent graduates, experienced educators, educators currently working part-time, and educators looking for additional flexible hours are welcome to apply.

Applicants must meet the credential requirements applicable to the childcare shifts they accept, which may include Alberta Early Childhood Educator certification, current First Aid certification and Police Information Check/Vulnerable Sector Search requirements.

About the Private Beta

We are deliberately keeping this first group small.





Only 30 educators will be selected, and participating childcare centres will also be limited to a maximum of eight locations in South Calgary.

The beta will run through December 31, 2026. During this period, we want real educators and real childcare centres using Nurture Loop in everyday staffing situations so we can identify what works, what needs improvement and what would make the platform more valuable before our full public launch.

Participants will occasionally be asked for candid feedback about their experience.

Joining the beta does not require you to accept every available shift. You remain in control of your availability and choose when you want to work. However, because spaces are limited, we are looking for educators who genuinely expect to use the platform rather than applicants who are simply curious about it.
