Job Overview

The Automotive General Sales Manager leads dealership sales operations, supports the sales team, and builds strong customer and business relationships. This role combines sales management, pipeline oversight, marketing coordination, and hands-on customer service to help the dealership meet its goals.

Duties

- Lead and coach sales staff, coordinate sales support, and organize daily activities to keep the team focused and responsive.
- Manage the sales pipeline, review opportunities, and guide negotiations, upselling, and high-end sales conversations.
- Develop outside and B2B sales relationships while supporting retail sales and dealership marketing efforts.
- Monitor sales activity and use math and organizational skills to track progress, identify opportunities, and improve processes.
- Your impact: Clear team coordination helps customers receive timely, consistent support throughout the sales process.





Qualifications

Required: Strong communication, negotiation, customer service, sales management, organizational, and basic math skills support effective team leadership and customer interactions. Preferred: Dealership experience and strengths in outside sales, B2B and retail sales, pipeline management, sales support, marketing, upselling, and high-end sales are valuable; bilingual or multilingual ability a benefit and professional phone etiquette are advantageous.
