About Toronto Ski Club Toronto Ski Club is a private, family-oriented ski club located at the base of Blue Mountain. During the winter season, our clubhouse is a busy gathering place for members and their families to relax, dine and socialize after a day on the slopes. We're a small, hardworking team that takes pride in providing a welcoming environment for our members. We believe in working together, supporting one another and taking ownership of our responsibilities.

The Position We're looking for a reliable, hardworking and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Full-Time Seasonal Clubhouse Cleaner. This is an active, hands-on position in a busy clubhouse. You'll be responsible for maintaining cleanliness throughout the building, particularly in high-traffic areas such as washrooms, dining spaces, lounges and entrances. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, notices what needs attention and gets it done without needing constant direction. We provide clear cleaning routines and expectations, but we need someone who can independently manage their workload and maintain high standards throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities

- Thoroughly clean and sanitize washrooms, including toilets, sinks, counters, mirrors and floors.
- Regularly inspect and refresh washrooms throughout the day.
- Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and maintain clean entrances and common areas.
- Clear and wipe down tables in dining and lounge areas.
- Empty garbage and recycling bins and replace liners.
- Replenish paper products, soap and other cleaning supplies.
- Monitor high-traffic areas and promptly address spills, messes and other cleaning needs.
- Follow established daily cleaning routines while independently identifying additional tasks that require attention.

- Maintain cleaning equipment and keep supply areas tidy and organized.
- Occasionally assist with Club event setup and cleanup, including moving tables and chairs under the direction of our event team.
- Work cooperatively with clubhouse, food and beverage, maintenance and administrative staff.

What We're Looking For A strong work ethic and positive attitude are essential to this role. Our ideal candidate is:

- Self-motivated: You stay productive, manage your time effectively and don't need someone constantly checking on your progress.
- Thorough and detail-oriented: You take pride in cleaning properly, not just making things look tidy.
- Hardworking: You're comfortable with a physically active role and enjoy staying busy throughout your shift.
- Reliable and punctual: Your coworkers and our members can count on you to show up ready to work.
- A team player: You're friendly, respectful, easy to work with and willing to help others when needed.
- Organized: You can follow a cleaning routine, prioritize tasks and adapt when the clubhouse gets busy.
- Professional: You understand the importance of maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our members.

Previous experience in commercial cleaning, housekeeping, hospitality or a similar role is an asset. What We Offer

- Competitive hourly wages based on experience.
- Consistent full time hours throughout the winter season.
- A predictable weekly schedule with two consecutive days off.
- A friendly, supportive team environment.
- A unique workplace at the base of Blue Mountain.
- A workplace where reliability, initiative and hard work are genuinely appreciated.

Interested in Joining Our Team? If you're someone who takes pride in a job well done, enjoys staying active and can work independently while being part of a great team, we'd love to hear from you!
