Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and hands-on Warehouse Lead Hand to support daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate must have strong computer skills and experience with paperwork, inventory tracking, and coordinating warehouse activities. The candidate must also be willing to operate a forklift when required.

TruckMate experience is preferred. We are looking for someone with excellent attention to detail who can balance administrative responsibilities with hands-on warehouse work.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate daily warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, order picking, and inventory control.
- Complete computer work, data entry, paperwork, and shipping/receiving documentation.
- Use warehouse management systems and transportation software to update records and track shipments.
- Assist with assigning tasks and coordinating workflow to meet daily operational targets.
- Operate a forklift when required to move, load, unload, and stage materials safely.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure all documentation is completed correctly.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, drivers, dispatch, and management.
- Maintain a clean, organized,



and protected work workplace.
- Support employee training, productivity, and workplace safety procedures.

Requirements

- Previous warehouse experience, preferably in a Lead Hand or senior warehouse role.
- Strong computer skills and confidence using warehouse software.
- TruckMate experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, data entry, and paperwork.
- Experience with shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
- Forklift operating experience; valid certification is an asset.
- Willingness to perform both administrative duties and hands-on warehouse work.
- Robust organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

- $22/hour during training
- $24/hour after successful completion of training
