Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate must be fluent in Cantonese or Mandarin to effectively communicate with our diverse patient base. The Dental Hygienist will provide preventive dental care, perform professional cleanings, conduct oral health assessments, take X-rays, and educate patients on oral hygiene practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform dental cleanings including scaling and polishing to prevent tooth decay and gum disease
- Examine patients' teeth and gums for signs of oral health issues
- Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
- Educate patients about oral hygiene and preventive care in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures as required
- Sterilize dental equipment and maintain a clean work environment
- Document patient care and update dental records
- Communicate effectively with patients to address dental concerns

Qualifications:





- Valid Dental Hygienist license or certification
- Diploma or degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution
- Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist preferred
- Fluency in Cantonese or Mandarin is mandatory
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of dental health and safety regulations
- Ability to use dental instruments safely and effectively
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach

- Stamina to perform physical tasks related to dental cleaning and patient care

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $50.00-$55.00 per hour
