Green Energy Supplies Inc. is hiring a 309A Licensed Electrician / Journeyman Electrician to join our growing electrical and energy solutions team.

We welcome experienced, fully licensed journeyman electricians who are looking to expand their skills and gain exposure to the rapidly growing renewable energy and electrification industry.

This position offers a variety of residential and commercial projects, including electrical upgrades, solar installations, battery storage, EV charging stations, heat pumps, and energy-productive technologies.

Previous renewable energy experience is an asset, but not required. Training will be provided to the right candidate.

What You'll Be Doing

- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Complete electrical installations associated with solar energy systems, battery storage, EV chargers, heat pumps, HVAC equipment, and other energy-efficiency projects.
- Perform panel replacements, service upgrades, wiring, conduit installations, and electrical modifications.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Diagnose electrical issues and provide safe, code-compliant solutions.
- Ensure installations meet Ontario Electrical Safety Code requirements and applicable regulations.
- Prepare completed electrical work for ESA inspections and address deficiencies when required.
- Test electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and proper operation.
- Collaborate with apprentices,



technicians, project coordinators, and other trades.
- Identify material requirements and communicate project updates or installation concerns.
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites.
- Follow all workplace health and safety requirements.

Required Qualifications

- Valid Ontario 309A Construction & Maintenance Electrician Licence (Journeyperson).
- Previous residential and/or commercial electrical experience.
- Strong knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code.
- Experience with electrical panels, service upgrades, wiring, and distribution systems.
- Solid troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
- Valid Ontario driver's licence and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned projects efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Comfortable working on construction sites and at heights when required.

Preferred Experience (Assets, Not Requirements)

- Solar photovoltaic (PV) installations.
- Battery energy storage systems.
- EV charger installations.
- Heat pumps and HVAC electrical.
- Electrical service and panel upgrades.
- Generators and backup power systems.
- Residential renovations and commercial electrical installations.




- Renewable energy and energy management technologies.

Compensation

$35.00–$45.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and technical capabilities.
