The Roof Whisperer is an established Toronto roofing company serving the Greater Toronto Area and Southern Ontario. We specialize in roof repairs, roof leak detection, skylights, chimney repairs, flat roofing, attic ventilation, and other residential and commercial roofing services.

Roof Repair Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Roof Repair Specialist to join our team full-time. This is a hands-on, year-round position for a skilled roofer who is confident diagnosing roofing problems, determining the proper repair solution, and completing repairs independently.

This position is focused primarily on roof repairs and service work rather than full roof installations. The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver who can attend a customer’s property, identify the source of a leak or roofing issue, explain the recommended solution, and complete quality repairs.

What You’ll Do

- Diagnose roof leaks and other roofing problems and identify the source of water entry
- Complete residential roof repairs on shingle, flat, and other roofing systems
- Repair and replace damaged shingles, flashing, roof vents, and other roofing components
- Complete flat roof repairs, including SBS modified bitumen, EPDM, and TPO roofing systems
- Diagnose and repair issues involving skylights, chimneys, flashing, valleys, roof penetrations, and ventilation
- Install and repair metal flashing as required
- Inspect roofing systems and identify additional areas requiring attention
- Recommend appropriate repair solutions, upgrades, or preventative work when needed
- Clearly explain findings and recommended work to customers
- Take clear before, during, and after photos of completed work
- Document job-site findings and work performed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and protected work area

- Manage assigned service calls and jobs independently
- Maintain and properly care for company vehicles, equipment, and materials
- Follow all company and roofing safety procedures

What We’re Looking For

- Valid G driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Proven, hands-on experience in residential roofing and roof repair
- Strong knowledge of roof leak detection and troubleshooting
- Experience working with asphalt shingles, flat roofing systems, skylights, chimneys, roof vents, and metal flashing
- Ability to diagnose roofing problems and determine the correct repair method
- Strong workmanship and attention to detail
- Comfortable communicating professionally with homeowners and explaining roofing issues
- Ability to work independently and manage projects with minimal supervision
- Comfortable working at heights and in different weather conditions
- Must have and maintain your own professional roofing tools suitable for residential repair work
- Reliable, punctual, organized, and professional
- Available for full-time, year-round employment

Applicants without direct, hands-on residential roofing experience and Full G Driver's Licence will not be considered.

What We Offer

- Full-time, year-round work
- Performance-based compensation, with additional commission opportunities for upselling services and upgrades.
- Company vehicle provided for work use and may be taken home
- Opportunity to grow with an established Toronto roofing company

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, understands how to find the cause of a roofing problem rather than simply cover it up, and can provide customers with professional, long-lasting repair solutions.
