Puffin Vape is seeking a friendly, reliable, and motivated Female Sales Associate to join our growing team. This role plays a key part in delivering exceptional customer service, educating customers on our products, and creating a welcoming, professional in-store experience.
The ideal candidate is customer-focused, well-organized, and comfortable explaining product features in a clear and responsible manner. This position offers a dynamic retail environment with opportunities to develop product knowledge and sales skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a professional and welcoming manner
- Assist customers in selecting products that best suit their needs and preferences
- Educate customers on product features, usage, and maintenance in a clear and compliant manner
- Confidently recommend complementary products to enhance the customer experience
- Process sales accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system, including cash and electronic payments
- Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing product displays
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking and merchandising
- Keep the sales floor tidy, safe, and welcoming at all times
- Communicate current promotions, new arrivals, and store policies to customers
- Handle customer questions or concerns professionally and escalate when necessary
- Ensure age-verification procedures are followed at all times (18+ ID required)
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to explain products clearly and confidently
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic cash handling
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail workplace
- Professional phone and in-person customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Bilingual abilities are considered an asset
- Interest in vaping products and willingness to continuously learn is a plus
