We are currently hiring for a Construction position. Ideal candidates will be able to lift heavy objects and work in a variety of environmental conditions such as rain, snow, wind and heat. We do not stop for weather, the appropriate candidate will require rain gear, warm clothing and sun protection. Candidate must be hard working with a willingness to learn, follow direction and work independently.

Construction duties include: Construction of full yard landscapes including the building of decks, fences and pergolas as well as paving stone projects, landscape prep, installing sod and sprinklers as well as end of the day site cleanup. Candidate will be able to take direction of independently using power tools such as making cuts, using a variety of drills, and hand tools such as landscape rakes, shovels, etc.

This position is unique in the fact that the appropriate candidate is able to showcase their individual skillset while allowing themselves to get creative. No two jobs are alike which keeps the job interesting and fun.

Must have minimum 2 years construction experience & previous experience in deck & fence construction.



Priority will be given to those with Construction 20/30, similar or higher skillsets.

Responsibilities:

- Be able to work independently and always keeping busy
- Work alongside and take direction from skilled employees
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance and represent the company well on job sites.
- Keep an upbeat positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges. Be open minded and adaptable
- General cleanup of the facilities
- Aid in levelling, hauling and laying sod and paving stone
- Comfortable independent use of power tools such as a variety of drills and saws
- Lifting materials of 50lbs or more on a daily basis
- Assist in the construction of decks, fences and pergolas
- Arriving on time, dressed appropriately for all seasons of weather. We work through it all.
- Provide own vehicle to numerous job sites throughout the city each day
- Strong clear speaking English is mandatory
- A minimum probation period will take effect to ensure the right fit for our company

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

- Saskatoon, SK: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
