Indian Cuisine Chef – Biryani & Appetizers Specialist

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Indian Cuisine Chef with a strong understanding of authentic Indian flavours, particularly biryani and traditional appetizers.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience preparing flavourful, consistent, high-quality dishes and a good understanding of Indian spices, marinades, cooking techniques, and regional cuisines.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare authentic Indian biryani and a variety of Indian appetizers.
- Maintain consistency in taste, quality, presentation, and portion sizes.
- Understand and manage spice blends, marinades, and traditional cooking methods.
- Ensure proper food preparation, storage, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness.
- Assist with menu improvements and contribute ideas where appropriate.
- Manage kitchen preparation efficiently while maintaining food quality during busy periods.

Requirements

- Previous experience working as a chef or cook specializing in Indian cuisine.




- Strong knowledge of biryani preparation, particularly Hyderabadi-style biryani.
- Experience preparing Indian appetizers, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes.
- Good understanding of spices, flavour combinations, and traditional Indian cooking techniques.
- Ability to work independently and maintain consistent food quality.
- Robust attention to cleanliness, organization, and food safety.
