As an Arena Attendant, you help keep the venue clean, orderly, and ready for visitors and staff. You’ll carry out routine cleaning and custodial tasks, respond to facility needs, and support a welcoming environment throughout the arena.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain assigned arena areas, including floors, seating, and shared spaces.
- Complete custodial tasks such as waste removal and replenishing supplies, following established routines.
- Check areas for cleanliness and report maintenance concerns or supply needs to the appropriate team member.
- Assist with keeping spaces orderly before, during, and after arena activities.
- Perform basic ice maintenance (flooding ice surface) and basic mechanical maintenance of resurfacer. (greasing, checking fluid & fuel levels)
Skills
Required: Practical cleaning skills, attention to detail,
and the ability to follow custodial routines help you maintain safe, presentable spaces and respond reliably to daily facility needs. Applicants must have a valid drivers license and reliable means to get to the Tilley Arena. Work hours will depend on facility bookings with the majority falling between approximately 4:00pm and 9:30pm weekdays and 7:00am to 2:00pm on Saturdays. Availability on Saturday and Sunday is required as these can be our busier times with games & tournaments.
