StayBooked: Independent Sales Representative

The role

StayBooked is hiring independent sales representatives to bring local and online businesses onto our creator ad marketplace. This is a remote, commission-based contractor role open across Canada and the United States of America.

About StayBooked. StayBooked lets businesses search creators like a search engine and book shoutouts, sponsored posts and newsletter ads with verified reach. Businesses pay through Stripe, and the money is held until they approve the work. Creators keep about 90% of every booking.

That makes the pitch easy: a business gets real creator promotion without agency fees, and pays only for work it signs off on.

What you'll do

Your job is to get businesses to their first paid creator booking on StayBooked, then help them keep booking.

- Find and reach out to businesses that benefit from creator promotion: restaurants, cafes, gyms, salons, hotels, local retail, events, e-commerce brands and agencies. We will also provide a list of leads to you to start.
- Prospect through cold calls, email, LinkedIn, social DMs, walk-ins and your own network. You choose the channels that work for you.
- Follow up with your accounts so they book again.
- Log your leads and deals in the CRM we provide, and share what you're hearing from the market.

How you get paid

You earn a share of the revenue that business generates for up to 12 months. Earnings are uncapped and paid monthly in CAD.

- Recurring commission: 30% of StayBooked's platform fee on every booking that business or creator makes for 6-12 months after activation.





Who we're looking for

You're a self-starter who's comfortable talking to business owners and wants your income tied to results.

- Experience in B2B sales, appointment setting, business development or local advertising sales.
- Or experience selling social media, marketing, influencer or UGC services. You already know this pitch.
- Comfortable with cold outreach and hearing no.
- Organized enough to track your own pipeline.

Nice to have: an existing network of local business owners, restaurant or hospitality contacts, or relationships with creators and marketing agencies.

Contractor terms

This is an independent contractor role, not employment. You set your own hours, choose your own methods and use your own phone and computer. You're responsible for your own taxes, including registering for GST/HST if you pass the small-supplier threshold. There's no base pay, no minimum hours.
