The position also involves leading and mentoring an HR team of three direct reports while ensuring effective implementation of HR policies, programs and procedures across the facility.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or an equivalent qualification, along with approximately 5–10 years of relevant HR experience and demonstrated management experience in a manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

- HR Leadership: Lead, coach and mentor the HR team while ensuring effective delivery of HR programs and operational objectives.
- Labour and Employee Relations: Manage employee relations matters, workplace investigations, disciplinary actions, grievance resolution and the interpretation and administration of collective bargaining agreements.
- Recruitment and Workforce Planning: Oversee hourly employee recruitment, training and development, succession planning and internal workforce movement.
- Attendance and Employee Engagement: Develop and implement attendance management initiatives, improve employee morale,



reduce turnover and strengthen employee engagement.
- Health, Safety and WSIB: Coordinate workplace health and safety initiatives, manage WSIB claims and support return-to-work and related employee accommodation processes.
- HR Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable Ontario employment legislation, company policies and established HR practices.
- Performance Management: Support salary employee performance reviews, provide coaching to managers and employees, and contribute to employee development initiatives.
- HR Systems and Reporting: Oversee HRIS accuracy, maintain employee records and prepare HR reports, workforce analytics and KPI updates for management.
- Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with plant leadership on Lean Manufacturing initiatives and contribute to site objectives related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Morale.

Pay: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
