Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have mechanical knowledge and experience in small engine repair. The role involves heavy lifting and utilizing hand tools to perform maintenance and repairs on various equipment such as utvs/atvs, skid steers, trailers, and more.

- Shift: Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 4:30pm

Duties:

- Perform diagnostic tests on machinery and trailers
- Conduct repairs on engines, transmission systems, and hydraulic components
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting
- Maintain accurate records of services performed
- Comfortable towing trailers and moving equipment in the shop yard

Requirements:





- Small Engine Repair Certification or equivalent industry experience
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for repairs
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physical tasks
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable towing trailers and moving equipment in the shop yard
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Acheson, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- small engine repair: 1 year (required)
