Position Overview

As a Route Sales Representative, you will serve as the primary brand ambassador across your retail territory. You will manage Direct Store Delivery, shelf merchandising, inventory optimization, and customer communications to ensure exceptional product presence and strong account relationships.

Key Responsibilities

· Sales & Route Operations: Deliver products according to daily route schedules, achieve sales volume goals, manage returns, and participate in route optimization projects.

· Merchandising Excellence: Execute planograms, secure maximum shelf space, manage promotional displays, and successfully launch new SKUs on your route.

· Inventory & Account Management: Maintain full in-stock position (7 days/week), optimize inventory levels to minimize out-of-stock events, process credits, and complete invoicing/Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation in a timely manner.

· Customer & Distributor Support: Build strong partnerships with store management, address service inquiries promptly alongside the District Sales Manager, and provide onboarding or route coverage for Independent Distributors as needed.

· Compliance & Maintenance: Utilize handheld computer systems accurately, follow GMP and Food Safety standards, and maintain delivery vehicles in clean, qualified working condition.

Qualifications & Requirements

· Experience:



Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial grocery, retail merchandising, or Direct Store Delivery (DSD).

· Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.

· Driving Record: Valid driver's license with a clean driving history (must provide Driver's Abstract).

· Key Competencies: Strong customer service orientation, organizational skills, effective written and verbal communication, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

· Technical Skills: Proficiency with computers/tablets (MS Word, Outlook) and willingness to learn route management software.

· Industry Knowledge: Basic food safety knowledge and food industry experience are strong assets.

· Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour.

· Shift: Starts Early Morning.
