In this fast-paced environment, you will play a key role in serving our community high-quality fish and chips with exceptional hospitality. You will handle everything from cash transactions and front-of-house customer interactions to assisting with fry station operations.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & POS Operations:

Warmly greet guests, take accurate orders at the counter or drive-thru/phone, and process payments (cash, debit, and credit) efficiently.

Maintain a balanced cash drawer and handle cash transactions with speed and precision.

Address customer questions, offer menu recommendations, and resolve minor customer concerns with a friendly, professional attitude.

Kitchen & Fryer Operations:

Comfortably and safely work around commercial deep fryers, hot oil, and high-temperature kitchen equipment.

Assist in cooking, battering, packaging, and staging orders to ensure food safety, quality, and fast speed of service.

Follow strict oil maintenance procedures, including filtering, testing, and replacing fryer oil safely.





Cleanliness & Food Safety:

Maintain a clean and organized work station, front counter, and kitchen environment.

Adhere to strict health, hygiene, and food handling safety standards at all times.

Assist with opening and closing duties, restocking, and general daily sanitation.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: Minimum [e.g., 1–2 years] of food service or cash-handling experience (prior experience in a fish and chip shop, quick-service restaurant, or high-volume food setting is strongly preferred).

Cash Handling: Demonstrated experience managing cash drawers, making change, and operating POS systems accurately.

Kitchen Comfort: Must be comfortable working in a warm environment around hot oil and commercial fryers.

Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, team-first attitude.

Reliability: Strong work ethic, reliable transportation, and flexibility to work peak meal hours, weekends, and evenings.

Pay: $18.00-$33.81 per hour
