What You'll Do

As a Refrigeration/HVAC Apprentice, you'll play an important role in supporting our customers and maintaining critical equipment across a variety of commercial and industrial facilities.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing commercial and industrial refrigeration and HVAC equipment.
- Analyzing work orders, investigating customer concerns, and identifying effective solutions.
- Assisting with equipment installations, retrofits, and upgrades in accordance with specifications, customer requirements, and applicable codes.
- Performing preventative maintenance to maximize equipment performance and reliability.
- Inspecting completed work to ensure quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Completing electronic service reports,



work orders, and maintenance documentation accurately and professionally.
- Participating in a rotating on-call schedule to support customer operations when required.
- Maintaining Gateway's high standards for safety, workmanship, and customer service.

Other duties may be assigned that reasonably fall within the scope of the position.

What You Bring

- Registered 2nd or 3rd Year Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Mechanic Apprentice.
- Previous experience working in a commercial HVAC and/or refrigeration environment.
- Robust mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- A commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Availability to participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License with an acceptable 5-year driver's abstract.
