Klaver Concrete is growing and looking for a motivated and dependable Concrete Pump Operator to join our team. This position plays a critical role in delivering safe, accurate, and efficient concrete placement on a variety of construction projects.

While previous concrete pumping experience is considered an asset, we are open to training the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, professionalism, and a willingness to learn. The successful candidate will work closely with construction crews, supervisors, delivery drivers, customers, and office staff to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.

Please note: This role is primarily focused on the operation of concrete pumping equipment. Driving duties represent a small portion of the position, with the majority of time spent operating and managing the pump on construction sites.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely and efficiently operate concrete pumping equipment on residential, commercial, and industrial job sites.
- Coordinate with site supervisors, contractors, and crew members to ensure timely and accurate concrete placement.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and complete routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and overall condition of the pump truck and related equipment.
- Communicate professionally with customers, foremen, labourers, concrete truck drivers, and office.
- Troubleshoot and respond proactively to operational challenges as they arise.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.




- Provide clear direction on-site when required to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team-focused environment.
- Be available for a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings.
- Work safely in a variety of weather conditions throughout the year, including winter operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Valid DZ or AZ driver's licence.
- Clean driver's abstract and ability to provide a current copy upon request.
- Safe driving record and experience operating commercial vehicles.
- Equipment operating experience or strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work a adaptable schedule.
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and safety-conscious.
- Knowledge of concrete placement practices and construction site operations is considered an asset.
- Previous concrete pumping experience is an asset; however, training will be provided to candidates who demonstrate the right attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn.
