We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Dental Assistant to join our energetic dental team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, support the dental practitioners, and ensure smooth clinic operations. Duties

- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a safe and efficient environment
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including orthodontics and pediatric dentistry
- Take and develop dental radiographs (CAD experience preferred)
- Provide patient education on oral health care and post-treatment instructions
- Manage patient records using dental software such as Epic and Dentrix
- Schedule appointments, confirm patient visits, and handle administrative tasks similar to a dental receptionist role
- Maintain accurate medical terminology documentation and assist with inventory management




- Support the overall workflow of the clinic by ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout their visit

Skills

- Certification as a Dental Assistant with current licensure or registration
- Proficiency in dental software platforms such as Dentrix
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dental care
- Experience in dental assisting procedures, including radiography (CAD skills are a plus)
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including children
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior experience as a dental receptionist is advantageous but not required
