Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Serve customers efficiently at the counter, taking orders accurately and providing friendly assistance
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process transactions quickly and accurately
- Handle cash and credit card payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and food preparation areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with food inventory management,
restocking supplies as needed to ensure smooth service flow
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Basic math skills for cash handling, order totaling, and inventory checks
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with food preparation, serving, cashiering, or kitchen operations is advantageous
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
