The Early Childhood Educator supports children’s learning, development, and well-being through attentive caregiving and engaging, age-appropriate activities. This role helps create a welcoming classroom where children can explore, build skills, and feel supported throughout the day.

Duties

- Provide attentive care and supervision, supporting children’s daily routines and individual needs.
- Plan and lead learning activities that encourage curiosity, communication, creativity, and social development.
- Maintain a safe, organized classroom and adapt activities to support children with different abilities.
- Observe children’s participation and progress, sharing relevant updates with families and colleagues.

Qualifications

Strong English Communication Skills, both verbal and written

Excellent organizational and classroom management skills

Dependable, punctual, and professional





Valid BC ECE Certificate

Professionalism and reliability

1 experience working in a licensed Canadian childcare centre

Ability to follow centre policies and management instructions

Initiative, independence, and strong classroom engagement

A warm, engaging approach with children and families

Responsibilities
