Overview

Operate a snowblower to clear snow from 2 outdoor skating rinks.

- This hands-on role suits someone who enjoys outdoor work and can safely operate and care for a snowblower in changing winter conditions.
- Prior experience with snow clearing is required.
- Duties
- Operate snowblower to clear snow from designated areas.
- Inspect equipment before and after use; report damage, hazards, or mechanical issues.
- Follow safety procedures around machinery, pedestrians, vehicles, and slippery surfaces.
- Assist with related outdoor tasks, such as clearing snow from the rink and shoveling the walkway between the community centre and the rink, when needed.
- Keep work areas orderly and communicate progress or site concerns to the appropriate team member.
- Skills
- Ability to operate equipment carefully and follow safety instructions.
- Mechanical knowledge and willingness to learn equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Experience with using a snow blower is an asset.
- Dependability, attention to detail, and readiness to work outdoors in cold and variable weather.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 3.0 per week
