We are looking for a reliable person to join our Wash and Fold Service team in our Kirkendale location near Hess Village.

A successful candidate should possess the following skills:

- Valuable customer service skills when checking in orders, assisting customers and responding to their needs and questions
- Basic math skills, neat handwriting
- Physical stamina to be able to be on your feet for long periods of time,
- Ability to lift and move up to 50lbs of laundry at a time
- Very good at handling multiple tasks and prioritizing
- Ability to operate phone apps, washer/dryer app (Training Provided), Point of Sale (POS) system
- Attention to detail when - sorting laundry - separating, reading labels and handling delicate fabrics - folding laundry - packing laundry (Training Provided)
- Problem-solving skills for troubleshooting phone apps, washer/dryer app/issues
- Good command of the English language - second language (Spanish, French, etc.) an asset
- Ability to deal with a variety of personality types/customers




- Previous laundry experience not necessary, but should have an appreciation for the joy of laundry and lots of it
- Drivers License a MUST

Other Tasks: keep store tidy and clean - empty garbage pails and recycling bin, wipe down washers, dryers and folding tables/counters, empty lint traps, vacuum carpets, mop floors, clean customer washroom

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 24 per week
