Two new-to-practice OBGYN physicians are opening a private practice in North Bay, and we're looking for the right person to join us as our Clinical Assistant

What We Offer

- Start date: December 7, 2026
- Clinic opening: January 2027
- Part-time, Monday–Friday position
- $22–$26/hour, based on qualifications and experience
- Approximately 28-32 hours a week
- Potential for 1 work-from-home half-day per week once established in the role

What You'll Do

You'll be an key part of the day-to-day operation of our practice, including:

- Welcoming and assisting patients, ensuring they feel welcomed, respected and well cared for
- Taking vitals, including weight and blood pressure for all patients
- Entering medical history and medication list into the chart
- Preparing Prenatal and Operating Room packages for patients
- Booking Operating Room procedures including facilitating care through the North Bay Regional Health Center
- Maintaining strict patient confidentiality
- Assisting with medical administration work and equipment sterilization and upkeep
- Assisting in office-based procedures
- Communicating with hospitals, physicians and other healthcare providers
- Helping establish efficient office systems and workflows (if interested)





Hours

- The clinic will run 2-4 days a week from 8:00-4:00
- One paid, half day a week when clinic is not running will be dedicated to administrative tasks

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

- Warm, professional and patient-focused
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Dependable and able to take initiative
- Confident with computers and willing to learn new software (Accuro)
- Comfortable handling confidential information
- A strong communicator who enjoys working with people

A formal degree/diploma as a clinical associate, physician assistant, Registered Practical Nurse, or similar is an assist but not required.
