We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to provide exceptional care and assistance to a young man with Downs Syndrome. We are in search of someone who understands the importance of meeting the needs of a person with a disability while helping them maintain a self directed life. We are looking for someone who is a committed individual and who has strong communication skills. This job is ideal for someone who is dependable, adaptable, adaptable, social and outgoing.
This is a part time position on weekends. 10 hours per week-5 hrs Saturday and 5hrs Sunday. Potentially extra hours if the other Support Worker requires time off and if the individual is willing to help with an activity the client has Monday and Wednesday evenings.
Work location is in the individuals home and surrounding community.
Employer is a non-profil whose sole purpose is to support this individual.
Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 per week
