MCL Group Ltd. is looking for an experienced Automotive Journeyman Technician (Mechanic). This position is based out of our shop. You must have experience with Ford/Ford Diesel trucks. This is a shop-based position - 5 days per week, 10 hour days with overtime opportunities on the weekend as well.

Responsibilities of the Automotive Mechanic:

- Diagnose and repair Ford/Ford Diesel trucks.
- Working with the Equipment Manager & Foreman on various tasks related to the Ford/Ford Diesel trucks and other automotive tasks.
- Maintain detailed records and organization plans.
- Ensure repairs are carried out according to manufacturer’s procedures and in safe and responsible manner within a designated time-frame.
- Various related duties as required within the shop.
- Continually assess service task hazards and ensure work is performed safely and to accepted standards.
- Able to work independently.
- Verifiable Ford/Ford Diesel experience is mandatory.

Qualifications:

- Must have a minimum of 3 years experience with FORD/FORD DIESEL TRUCKS.

- Automotive qualifications and certifications must be verifiable.

- Experience with air conditioning, welding,



transmission/engine repair/re-builds.

- High degree of product and technical knowledge with strong diagnostics capabilities.

- Good communication skills both written and verbal.

- Must have demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision and collaberate with a team of experienced mechanics.

- Dedication to safety.

- You must have your own tools.

Work Conditions

- Safety equipment will be required, e.g. steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses, etc.
- Hazards associated with the trade- Work both indoors and outdoors. May be exposed to high levels of noise.
