Hours: 20 hours per week

Compensation: $19.00 / hour. An invoice for all hours worked must be submitted by

the independent contractor.

Duration: November 1-30, 2026 [subject to extension as may be agreed to in writing by

the RASC and the Shipping clerk].

Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and dependable Shipping Clerk to join our

small team on a temporary independent contractor basis for November 2026. In this

role, you will be hands-on in ensuring that our customer orders are processed and

shipped accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Outbound Processing: Efficiently pick, package, and label customer orders for
- secure shipment.
- Inventory and Workspace Maintenance: Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized




- processing area and stockroom.
- Record Keeping: Keep accurate and up-to-date logs of completed shipments
- and tracking statuses.

Physical Demands

To successfully perform the duties of this role, candidates must be comfortable with regular physical activity, including:

- Lifting up to 40 lbs
- Standing, walking, and sitting for periods throughout the shift
- Making repetitive motions

Requirements and Qualifications

- Safety Footwear: Must possess and wear Grade 1 (Green Triangle) CSA- approved safety footwear with protective toecaps.
- Detail-Oriented: A careful and organized approach to order fulfillment and inventory tracking.
- Team Player: Able to work collaboratively within a small, dynamic team environment.
