Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with the ability to lead and manage a kitchen staff effectively. The Chef will oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest quality while maintaining a positive and productive work environment.

Duties

- Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate food preparation activities.
- Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends.
- Ensure all food is prepared according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene practices in compliance with health regulations.
- Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Train and mentor kitchen team members in cooking techniques, food handling, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during meal periods.
- Monitor kitchen performance and implement improvements as necessary for efficiency and quality.

- Proven experience in supervising kitchen staff and managing a team effectively.
- Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation.
- Extensive knowledge of food service operations and restaurant management principles.
- Familiarity with food handling regulations and safety practices within the food industry.
- Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $18.85-$23.00 per hour
