True North Cannabis Co. & True North Vapes are growing, and we are looking for motivated, experienced retail leaders to join our team!

We are seeking a Store Manager who is passionate about retail, customer service, team development and driving store performance.

This is an opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of store operations and enjoys helping employees succeed.

As a Store Manager, you will work closely with store leadership to oversee daily operations, support employees, maintain compliance and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

What You'll Be Doing

Store Operations & Performance

- Support daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.

- Oversee cash handling, deposits, inventory controls and operational reporting.

- Monitor store performance and help achieve sales and operational goals.

- Assist with scheduling, staffing and maintaining appropriate store coverage.

- Ensure the store operates efficiently and in accordance with company standards.

Team Leadership & Development

- Lead, motivate and support employees during scheduled shifts.

- Provide coaching, training and ongoing performance feedback.

- Assist with onboarding and developing new team members.

- Promote accountability, teamwork and a positive workplace culture.

- Support management in addressing performance concerns and maintaining company standards.

Customer Service & Sales

- Deliver an exceptional customer experience through knowledgeable and professional service.

- Support employees in achieving sales goals and improving customer engagement.

- Handle customer concerns and escalations professionally.

- Build customer relationships that encourage repeat business and loyalty.

Compliance & Inventory Management





- Ensure compliance with applicable cannabis, vape and tobacco regulations.

- Maintain proper identification verification and responsible sales practices.

- Support inventory receiving, counts, reconciliation and loss prevention.

- Maintain accurate records and support regulatory inspections.

- Ensure merchandising, product storage and store presentation meet company and regulatory standards.

Store Standards & Safety

- Maintain a clean, organized and welcoming retail workplace.

- Ensure workplace health and safety procedures are followed.

- Identify and report operational, security or safety concerns.

- Support continuous improvement in store operations and customer experience.

What We're Looking For

- Minimum 2 years of retail supervisory or management experience.

- Valid CannSell Certification required for cannabis retail assignments.

- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

- Experience with POS systems, cash handling and inventory management.

- Ability to motivate employees and lead by example.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.

- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for retail sales.

- Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions.

- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

- Must meet applicable legal age requirements for regulated retail environments.

- Successful completion of a criminal background check, where legally permissible and required.

Previous experience in cannabis, vape, tobacco or other regulated retail environments is considered an asset.

Additional Position Requirements





- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

- Ability to bend, reach, kneel and perform general retail duties.

- Ability to lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.

- Willingness to support operations across True North Cannabis Co. and True North Vapes locations, as required and where legally permitted.

- Ability to maintain required certifications for regulated retail operations.

Our stores operate seven days a week, with operating hours varying by location between approximately 8:00 a.m. and 11:30 p.m.
