Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Account Manager to assist our organization in establishing commercial banking relationships and implementing comprehensive cash management services within a commercial banking setting.

The ideal candidate must be a current Commercial Banker, Business Banker, or Branch Manager at one of Canada’s Big Five banks: TD Canada Trust, BMO, Royal Bank of Canada, CIBC, Scotiabank, or National Bank of Canada.

This role requires strong expertise in commercial banking products, regulatory compliance, and hands-on experience coordinating between financial institutions and third-party partners within the GTA.

Key Responsibilities

- Establish and manage new commercial business bank accounts.
- Set up and oversee comprehensive cash management services, including:
- EFT/ACH services
- Wire transfers (domestic and international)
- Online banking platforms
- Merchant services
- Remote deposit capture
- Treasury and liquidity solutions
- Liaise directly with bank representatives and GTA-based financial partners to facilitate seamless onboarding.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including KYC, AML, FINTRAC, and internal bank policies.
- Coordinate documentation, due diligence, and account approval processes.
- Provide strategic guidance on banking structure, account optimization, and treasury management.




- Act as a bridge between banking institutions and internal stakeholders.
- Advise on risk management and operational efficiency within commercial banking relationships.

Required Qualifications

- Must be a current Commercial Banker, Business Banker, or Branch Manager at one of the following:
- TD Canada Trust
- BMO
- Royal Bank of Canada
- CIBC
- Scotiabank
- National Bank of Canada
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in commercial or business banking.
- Extensive knowledge of all commercial cash management products and treasury services.
- Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks in Canadian banking.
- Proven ability to manage account onboarding and banking relationships.
- Established professional network within the GTA financial sector.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- High level of discretion and professionalism.

Preferred Skills

- Experience working with factoring companies or alternative lending partners.
- Knowledge of commercial lending products and credit structuring.
- Strong project management and coordination skills.

Pay: $145,000.00-$175,000.00 per year
