Construction Labourer

What the Role Involves

The Construction Labourer will support carpenters and site crews with day-to-day construction activities, helping maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities include:

- Assisting carpenters and other trades with daily construction tasks
- Loading, unloading, and organizing building materials and tools
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Assisting with site preparation, material handling, and general labour
- Helping with demolition, cleanup, and other tasks as required
- Following instructions and working safely around tools, equipment, and other trades
- Taking initiative and looking for ways to support the crew
- Learning new skills and contributing to the overall progress of each project

Experience & Qualifications

- Previous construction or general labour experience is an asset
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials is an asset
- Willingness to learn and follow direction
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and carrying materials
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic, communication skills, and attention to detail

Compensation

- Full-time position
- Monday to Friday
- Pay based on experience and skill level
