Overview

As a Cashier/Line Cook, you’ll support smooth restaurant service by preparing food, processing transactions, and helping customers with friendly, attentive service. You’ll move between the register and kitchen, keeping orders accurate and work areas clean and organized.

Duties

- Prepare and serve food according to order details, food-handling practices, and food-safety procedures.
- Use a POS system, including Micros POS where applicable, to enter orders, process payments, and handle cash accurately.
- Assist customers, answer questions, and suggest relevant items through courteous service and appropriate upselling.
- Maintain sanitation and an orderly kitchen and service area; manage time effectively during busy periods.

Requirements

Required: Practical food preparation, food handling, sanitation, food safety, cashiering, cash handling, basic math, and customer-service skills support protected, accurate daily service. Time management and clear communication help you coordinate tasks across the register and kitchen. Preferred: Food service, restaurant, food industry, serving, or kitchen experience; familiarity with POS or Micros POS; and confidence with math and thoughtful upselling are advantageous.

Pay: $18.40-$18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
