Job Overview
As a Butcher - Butcher Assistant, you’ll support all butcher tasks. Mainly working on the kill floor 2 to 3 days a week. You’ll work with the team to support the flow of the required tasks
Duties
- Assist with beef and other cutting/ butcher tasks, always following safe equipment handling practices. Kill floor experience is preferred but will train.
- Follow food safety procedures when handling products, tools, and equipment.
Experience
Required: Butcher setting experience, although training will be provided for specific tasks, some knowledge is required. Clear communication and attention to detail.
Preferred: Experience in the food industry, butchery, meat cutting. .
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
