IS2 Workforce Solutions is currently recruiting a TIG Welder / Fitter on behalf of our client, a well-established custom metal fabrication manufacturer in Woodstock, Ontario. Our client produces steel and aluminum components for a variety of industrial and heavy-duty applications within a quality-driven manufacturing environment.

This position involves hands-on welding and fitting work in a custom fabrication setting. The successful candidate will work with detailed drawings and specifications to fabricate, fit, and weld components while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Location: Woodstock, Ontario

Pay Rate: $28-$35/hour (or to be negotiated)

Shift: Day Shift | 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM | Monday–Friday

Key Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols
- Fit, layout, cut, shape, and weld steel and aluminum components
- Perform welding using MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), and Flux-Cored (FCAW) processes
- Weld components to required structural and quality standards
- Operate fabrication equipment such as CNC press brakes, shears, and plasma cutters when required
- Grind, finish, and inspect welds to meet specifications
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Work collaboratively with production and quality teams to meet deadlines

Qualifications & Requirements

- Must be able to pass a Controlled Goods Application




- Must have proven experience as a Welder/Fitter with ALUMINUM MATERIALS in a custom fabrication environment
- Ability to read blueprints and work to close tolerances
- Experience welding aluminum materials
- Welding certifications (CWB, AWS, IAS) are preferred
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing setting with moderate to high noise levels
- Physically capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling heavy materials
