Overview

Part Time Float Staff provide flexible support across assigned settings, helping maintain welcoming, organized environments for children and individuals with disabilities. This role calls for dependable communication, adaptability, and a cooperative approach.

Responsibilities

- Assist with childcare and classroom activities, including teaching and early childhood education tasks as assigned.
- Support individuals with disabilities and contribute to inclusive activities informed by special education practices.
- Communicate with children, families, and colleagues in English and French as appropriate, and share clear written updates.
- Help with computer operation, organization, and time management while moving between assignments.

Requirements

Required: Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills; ability to support classroom activities, use basic computer tools, and adapt to changing assignments. Preferred: Bilingual English and French ability, leadership strengths, and experience in childcare, teaching, early childhood education, special education, classroom settings, or working with children and individuals with disabilities.

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 per week
