Nechako Lakes School District seeks a Learning Support Worker for a continuing position starting as soon as possible. You will assist with regular or alternate programs for groups or individual students. The work includes advocacy and participation on the school-based team where required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Foster and develop individual student potential
- Work with school and district staff
- Assist teachers delivering regular programs
- Support alternate programs with students
- Advocate for students when required

Requirements:

- Completion of Grade 12 Dogwood Certificate
- Education Assistant Certificate program completion
- Six months working with children or youth
- Experience with intellectual, behavioral, or multiple disabilities
- WHMIS 2015 Certificate and WorkSafeBC familiarity
