Support career planning and job placement as an Employment Consultant with Cambrian College in Little Current. Travel between Employment Options sites may be required.

This full time position serves Employment Options clients through information, referral, case management, and employment preparation. You will assess skills, interests, abilities, barriers, education, and work experience while developing service plans. The role also includes workshops, employer coordination, documentation, and follow-up.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct intake interviews and assess client eligibility and needs
- Develop, monitor, and adjust vocational service plans
- Deliver workshops addressing ongoing client needs
- Arrange job shadowing, trials, training, and volunteer placements




- Monitor employment performance and complete follow-up activities

Requirements:

- Two-year related postsecondary diploma or equivalent
- Three years’ career guidance, counselling, workshops, and placement experience
- Experience assessing client needs and employment barriers
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License and reliable transportation
- Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook proficiency
